The Club at Enclave apartments in Otay Ranch are the pinnacle of apartment living. The SYNLawn® San Diego team lent its hand to this recent project to help ensure top quality and precision for their rooftop balcony and fire pit seating area. To ensure lasting durability and safety, we outfitted The Club at Enclave with our Class A fire rated RoofDeck Platinum. The Club provides a variety of first-rate amenities. Residents will have access to a shimmering saltwater pool, a 24-hour fitness facility with cutting-edge equipment, and an open-air, penthouse-style clubroom with breathtaking views.

Architects and specifiers use SYNLawn® RoofDeck Platinum for urban roofs, decks, patios, and high-traffic areas where weight and safety are a concern. Its nylon fibers have a high melt temperature, are resistant to melting from window reflection, and have the top safety rating to date. ASTM E108 Class A fire-rated, and ASTM E648, F1292, F1951, ASTM E648, F1292, and F1951 certifications. Due to the combination of our EnviroLoc™ backing and HeatBlock™ technology, RoofDeck Platinum is the only artificial grass with a Class A fire rating that does not require infill. RoofDeck Platinum reinforces its exceptionally high standards for related applications such as golf green fringe, with its unexpectedly delicate textures and flexibility.
Thanks to this San Diego artificial grass installation and its superior fire rating, first responders are given more time to act. In the unfortunate event that a fire breaks out, the high resistance to melting that this product provides minimizes the amount of devastation caused by the burn. Not only do first responders have more time to arrive, but the residents of The Club also have more time to safely evacuate the building and avoid fatal injuries.
SYNLawn® EnviroLoc™ backing system is a multi-layer backing system that acts as a security system to provide long-lasting grass fibers, extending the product’s life cycle. This ecologically friendly component is manufactured in the United States and is made from resources supplied via our collaboration with local soy farmers. EnviroLoc™ helps to conserve enormous quantities of water all year and provides maximum drainage allowing our artificial grass to be used almost immediately after coming into contact with rain, water, or spills. Furthering our commitment to safety, RoofDeck Platinum helps prevent minor injuries and rough falls up to 10 feet. This is made possible by meeting the criteria for IPEMA certification.
